  • Punjab's boards announced the HSSC Part-I (11th class) First Annual Examination 2026 results at 10am on Thursday, October 22.

The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) across Punjab announced the 11th class (HSSC Part-I) results of the First Annual Examination 2026 at 10am on Thursday, October 22, for both regular and private candidates, ProPakistani and ARY News reported.

The written exams were held from June 15 to July 8, in morning and evening sessions, with practical exams for relevant subjects held between July 27 and August 18. Students who sat FA, FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, I.Com and other intermediate groups can now check their marks.

SMS codes for every Punjab board

If the website is slow, send only your roll number, with no name or other text, to your board’s code:

Board SMS code Districts covered
Lahore 800291 Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib
Multan 800293 Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, Lodhran
Gujranwala 800299 Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Narowal
Faisalabad 800240
Rawalpindi 800296
Sahiwal 800292
Sargodha 800290
Bahawalpur 800298
Dera Ghazi Khan 800295

Standard mobile charges may apply, and replies can take longer when many students are checking at once.

How to check online

  1. Go to your board’s official website and open the Results section.
  2. Choose Intermediate, then the HSSC Part-I First Annual Examination 2026.
  3. Enter the roll number printed on your roll number slip.
  4. Complete the captcha if asked, and submit.

The result shows subject-wise marks, grades and result status. Check that your name, roll number and subjects are correct before saving or printing it. Choosing Part-II instead of Part-I, or the wrong year, can stop your result from appearing.

For example, BISE Sahiwal’s results are at bisesahiwal.edu.pk, ARY News said. Private candidates registered directly with a board can check their results the same way, using the roll number on their slip. ProPakistani noted that board websites may receive very heavy traffic soon after the announcement, so candidates who face delays should try again later.

Using the result gazette

Boards also publish a result gazette, a PDF listing all candidates, which colleges use to review performance. BISE Gujranwala keeps it under the Exam and Results menu on its website.

Once you have downloaded the PDF:

  • on a computer, press Ctrl and F to open the search box
  • on a phone, use the search option in your PDF reader
  • search by your full roll number, which is more reliable than searching by name because several students can share the same name

New grading system

The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has introduced a revised grading system for SSC and HSSC exams, which applies to Class 11 students from the First Annual Examination 2026, ProPakistani reported. Results now show grades under the revised system alongside subject marks.

Tips

  • Official websites are likely to be busy on result day. If a page does not load, try again later or use SMS.
  • Keep a printed or saved copy of your online result until your official result card arrives through your college, following your board’s instructions.
  • Students unhappy with their marks should follow their board’s announced procedure and deadline for rechecking.
